For those of you who don’t know, SXSW (Interactive) is a big yearly event in Austin, TX. I’ve never been there (yet) but all the big people in the blogging, web design and web standards community are there. It’s partly a social event, where you get to meet all kinds of people, but there are also many great panels.

Anyways, I was absolutely delighted to be chosen as one of the 5 finalists for the SXSW web awards. Between Snook and Dan Rubin, the competition is really tough. One thing is for sure, whoever wins - it’s going to be fun!
“The winners of the Best of Show and People’s Choice prizes at the Web Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening, March 11 will receive a premium prize package including software from Adobe.
In addition to the Adobe software, this year the Best of Show winner will receive a package of tech-related prizes and goodies worth more than $1000 including a complimentary travel package.”
One of the awards, People’s Choice, is based on a vote. So cast yours, hopefully for April Zero :) It resets every 24 hours, so be sure to vote early and often!
