From Radiohead’s new CD, In Rainbows — 15 Step is real good. Reckoner which is also extremely good. Videotape isn’t bad either.) Great CD overall!
They’re doing this thing where you have to buy it from their site (not distributed through normal channels, or CDs), but it’s interesting because you can pay any amount you choose. Kind of a cool alternative, mixing the benefits of piracy (saving money, not gettin ripped off, or spending what you think it’s worth) with buying the music (legal rights to it, helping the artists [more this way, because the money doesn’t end up going to the distributor and production]).
And speaking of new CD’s, She Wants Revenge just came out with a new CD as well, This is Forever. Again, I prefer the classics but the song Walking Away on it is pretty good.. Though the rest wasn’t as great as I was hoping it might be. Not bad though, if you like that kind of stuff. (Other good songs by them from earlier: I Don’t Want to Fall In Love (Last weeks SOTW), Out of Control, Black Liner Run, Monologue, and These Things. Some of their songs are a bit dark or morbid but they’ve all got great music.
