Well, you can’t do print design without a printer. So I’ve got a lovely Canon i9900 (it’s a photo printer) in the mail. The amount of Canon gear I now have, or that is en route, is quite scary. A few months ago, I couldn’t have imagined I would be so into photography. I blame the POTN Forum for all this! It’s a great place - and they make you want to buy all sorts of things. Fortunately these things (L lenses and all) have good resale value so I still have a chance to get out…
Anyways, I’m looking forward to making some large 13×19 prints of my web portfolio and photography and all. I have some great plans for print media, including little web, logo, etc. portfolios - as well as little print versions of Dragon Labs. Stay tuned for a bunch of new print stuff over the next few weeks - I’m currently working on three different business cards (for different companies).
Oh, and I also picked up a bunch of different papers (Ilford and Canon) to test out quality, textures, etc. I will post my findings once I get them.
