Lately my interest and support for both Apple and Heroes had been dwindling. Apple had made many decisions that I wasn’t happy with, both in terms of design and marketing. And the heroes episodes really lost what used to make them good. A while back I went to the Apple store in Glendale (never go there) and was really disappointed when they refused to replace my defective mighty mouse and macbook pro battery.
Today I stopped by the Sherman Oaks apple store, where I’ve always had pretty good luck—and they gave me a new one without a question (or appointment, like the Glendale snobs wanted). Todays Heroes episode was also really great (last week’s was good too, they’re getting better again). I think someone said Tim Kring didn’t write all of them, which would explain it, but I’m not sure.
The Bullspot.com beta is now up, though there are still a lot of things that need to be ironed out—but check it out.

Agreed on the part of Heroes. The latest episode managed to ignore are the crap characters (except Peter, he’s good) and now the season is starting to have a direction again with the whole virus storm thing.
