Well, I have to write some essays, for upcoming college applications. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. One of them is 600 words (your choice), and the other 2 200 each.
Question 1: How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college?
Not sure what to write for this one - at least schoolwise - because I haven’t really learned anything at school. I guess I could write about teaching myself web design and how I did independent study and gained the resourcefulness to learn on my own.
Question 2: Tell us about a talent, experience, contribution or personal quality you will bring to the University of California.
I don’t want this to be all about web design - the person reading it may not connect with it and then all 3 essays would be blown. I’m thinking about writing about photography - how I saved up over the summer, and started learning photography on forums and also plans I have once I get to college: like building a small studio. Could also maybe be part of their photojournalism team, for the school publications.
Question 3: Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application?
I’m thinking this’ll be the big one - where I’ll talk about my design & business identity. Maybe how it started would be in the first essay - and in here would be all the stuff I’ve currently done and plans for the future.
Any comments, ideas or suggestions? These need to be pretty good.

On the last question you might want to talk about your plans beyond college too. Or what you plan to do with the “Quality” eduation you will be receiving. Stuff like that, beef the school up to look good too.
Those were all the comments. But don't be shy — Add your own!
