Dead Raptor

The Latest Blog Post • Posted 1 year, 8 months Ago • January 4, 2007

As you may have noticed, April Zero (and the other sites) were down for the last few days. I’m still not too sure about what exactly happened, but I think it involved a dead hard drive in our server.

Thankfully, everything is back and working now.

On a brighter note, today I went down to Samy’s Cameras in Pasadena with my friend John. I tested and compared a few lenses and mine, but the lighting there was pretty bad and I was shooting around ISO800 so it’s hard to tell. They didn’t have any 1D MKIIN’s for me to play with, but they did have a 1Ds MKII which was totally cool. The controls are totally different so I was a bit lost, but the thing is built like a tank and puts my gripped 20D to shame. It’s a bit heavier though.

Woww this is a very lovely site you’ve got, I love the design, very clean and simple but its really amazing. I love your site name as well as the meaning behind it .

And good luck with the erm, cameras, I dont really understand camera talk, Im sure ISO800 & 20D are very interesting =)

Thanks for the comments Melissa :)

The 20D is interesting indeed, but ISO800 is something to stay away from.

Attention: Blueberries.

That is all.

That 1D is solid. I can’t wait to borrow it from you when you but it =P
