Hi! At first, I would like to say, that I ilke your work really really much. I think, that your kind of designs are definitely one of the very best of nowadays. This is truly my blood. These logos looks pretty good…almost everytime its good way to use just simple gradients and high contrast shapes. But, why did you use a shield for the main shape? I’m worried that the web is full of these shields. Maybe it doesn’t matter.
And idea of four elements… oh man…! I have a vision of a project where I planned to use four elements as a main idea.. So I’m really sad to see this :-(
But never mind, great work!

Mark 2 looks best, Mark 3 looks like the Security Center shield from Windows XP. I’d avoid at all costs.

Well I really don’t know what to say on that except be totally honest. You have essentially created a really lazy brand logo. All you have done essentially is rotated the AVG block, swapped out the black and the thought about turning it into an obligatory XP shield as somebody had mentioned above.

I suggest get back to the drawing board. I am in no way an expert but I know what I see.

I felt like dropping by, since I haven’t in a while. How did SXSW go/How’ve you been? I liked Mark 2 the most too.

I kinda agree with Avangelist… The idea is great (the four elements), the colors are unfortunatly the same as those in the windows logo, and a shield seems to me to have nothing to do with your site, april zero. What about basing it on a ring? (a zero) The leaves sorta suggest spring, and that’s April… A ring might be better man. Otherwise, your graphics work is of course, stunning.
