A funny listing. Amazingly accurate, at least Ive found myself matching a lot of them, heh. Reminds me of a realization I had at SXSW: that us web designers are all pretty simple. Especially the whole crowd at some of the SXSW panels. Everyone had the same timbuk2 bag, macbook pro, job, interests, even skills. And while I’m sure theres a lot of people like that out there, it’s a big world, it was odd to see them so concentrated.
Usually conversations go like: “So what do you do?” “Well, I’m a web designer.” “Oh cool. I downloaded front page the other day. Was playing around with tables. Yeah it’s pretty fun.” But here it was like “Oh yeah, me too. Did you hear about that latest CSS bug in IE7?”. Every time.
